
Natalie Gildea ’23
Natalie Gildea is a junior at Archmere Academy who is the head organizer of the 2022 TEDxYouth@ArchmereAcademy event and has been working with speakers to develop their talks. At school, Natalie is also involved with Archmere’s student newspaper (Green Arch), Community Service Club, and Quiz Bowl. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dog and reading. Natalie’s favorite TED talk is “Grit: The power of passion and perseverance” by Angela Lee Duckworth.
Maggie Turner ’23
Maggie Turner is a junior and is one of the coordinators of the 2022 TEDxYouth@ArchmereAcademy event, helping speakers curate their talks. At school, Maggie is also involved with Archmere’s school newspaper (the Green Arch) and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion club. In her free time, she loves to read, watch movies, and drink matcha with her friends. Her favorite TED talk is “We need to restore femininity” by Michelle Miller.


Ally McLaughlin ’22
Ally is a senior and a member of the TEDxYouth@ArchmereAcademy event team, working to organize and plan the event. Ally has been a member of the Archmere volleyball team for four years, and is the president of the Auks Beat Cancer Club. Outside of school, Ally enjoys trying new food and going to baseball games. Her favorite TED talk is “The danger of a single story” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
Bridget Holmes ’23
Bridget Holmes is a junior, and she is one of the crew members of the TEDxYouth@ArchmereAcademy club, working on coordinating the presenters in the group. She also enjoys playing the keyboard in the band at Archmere as well as peer tutoring and playing softball in the spring. When at home, Bridget helps out her family with her many nieces and nephews and loves spending time with friends. Her favorite TED talk is “This is what happens when you reply to spam email” by James Veitch.


Ava Courtney ’23
Ava is a junior, and she is helping to organize the schedule for TEDxYouth@ArchmereAcademy as well as brainstorming ideas for the social media team. Ava is also a member of the Archmere Mastersingers, Mock Trial, and B+ club. When she isn’t participating in extracurriculars, she enjoys hanging out with her mini goldendoodle, working at her job down at the beach, or playing pickleball with her family. Her favorite TED talk is “Why thinking you’re ugly is bad for you” by Meghan Ramsey.
Philip Himmelreich ’23
Phil is a Junior at Archmere Academy, and he is really excited to work as an organizer of the 2022 TEDxYouth@ArchmereAcademy event. At school, he is also involved in basketball, lacrosse, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Students of the Year Campaign, community service club and personal finance club. In his free time, Phil enjoys spending time at the beach with his friends or deep sea fishing with his family. He has watched so many TED talks in the past, but his favorite one by far is “Grit: The power of passion and perseverance” by Angela Lee Duckworth.


Victoria Eastment ’24
Victoria Eastment is sophomore at Archmere, and within the TEDxYouth@ArchmereAcademy club, she helps with logistical event planning. She is also a member of Mock Trial, Auk Ambassadors and Horticulture Club, and she plays piano for the Helena Raskob Art Institute of Archmere Academy. Her favorite TED talk is “Inside the mind of a master procrastinator” by Tim Urban.
Charlotte Kelly ’23
Charlotte Kelly is a junior at Archmere Academy who is an organizer of TEDxYouth@ArchmereAcademy and has been working on social media content for the event’s Instagram account. At school, Charlotte is also involved with Archmere’s student newspaper (Green Arch), Auk Ambassadors, and the swim team. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, going to art museums, and reading. Charlotte’s favorite TED talk is “Finding the story inside the painting” by Tracy Chevalier.


Rory Crisfulla ’23
Rory Crisfulla is a junior at Archmere. With the TEDxYouth@ArchmereAcademy Club, she supports speakers as they draft and rehearse their talks and helps organize the event. She also helps to advertise and promote the event within Archmere. Rory is also involved with Ethics Bowl at Archmere, and she is looking forward to hearing the TEDxYouth@Archmere Academy speakers present their talks!
